This 3 star hotel is considered as a superior tourist class property. The Grand Hotel de Champagne is a first-class hotel, located in an exceptionally quiet area in the heart of the city. The building dates back to 1562, making it the oldest construction in rue Jean Lantier and les Orfevres, a point which is testified by an inscription on the main beam in the entrance hall. The hotel has been recently refurbished and it features the original, quaint wooden beams. Unlike many renovated hotels, which retain an old fa?ade in front of a modern interior, this hotel retains its original flavor. The location, in the heart of Paris between Notre Dame and the Louvre, is superb. The guest rooms are decorated in a lovely traditional d?cor, and each room has been individually and uniquely decorated. These rooms have all modern comforts, in spite of the hotel's legacy. The Grand Hotel de Champagne is minutes to fine dining, shopping and entertainment venues.
