This scenic, smaller cousin of the Grand Canyon is famous for its rock formations, striped with color, studded with crystal pools fed by the Oak Creek that runs along the bottom. Hiking, swimming, and picnic areas are abundant. Highway 89A snakes down the canyon, providing scenic views, and connecting the canyon with the town of Sedona.
